Report Release: Local Area Shuttle Services for Pune: Potential as an Intermediate Public Transport option

 

Pune, like most other cities, has a range of intermediate public transport (IPT) services. It is generally acknowledged that IPT, such as taxis, auto rickshaws, six seaters, as well as more recent services of appbased auto aggregators, provide affordable mobility and connectivity in many towns and cities It is also acknowledged that a clear policy and actions to strengthen IPT are needed, locally and nationally.
